Andy is, by all accounts, a building obsessive – the kind of technical mind that can see a junction or a structural problem three steps before it happens. He founded Brother Nature in 2014 after realising he couldn’t build the way he knew buildings should be built under anyone else’s banner.

He’s a fast talker whose work is proof that speed doesn’t come at the cost of rigour, and is happiest on-site in hi vis solving something no one has solved yet. Andy’s approach is scrappy in the best way: measured risks, constant R&D and a refusal to accept the industry’s 40-year building mindset when he knows it’s possible (and responsible) to build for 100.

That pragmatism, paired with deep experience across domestic and commercial construction, has made him one of the most unassumingly influential thinkers in the Australian construction scene. He’s increasingly called on by government-adjacent bodies and industry leaders for a reality check – not because he’s slick, but because he’s right.
