This Art Deco farmhouse was treated to a collaborative and intuitive upgrade that celebrates the worlds that came before it, while creating space for this era and those to come.
Steeped in history and stunning Australian farmland, this heritage Homestead required reimagination for the current generation. Brother Nature thoughtfully paired high calibre design and choices with respectful historical nods to help this family celebrate their home’s relationship with the surrounding landscape. As a working farmhouse, a clever floorplan was imperative, with the final design incorporating external access to bathroom and laundry, increased privacy and security, and a future-focused rethink of all five bedrooms and bathrooms. Inside, a sub-tropical farmhouse palette sings! The charismatic and timeless interiors include top-of-the-line appliances, bespoke joinery, textural Phillip Jefferies wallpapers, oak parquetry flooring, custom marble mosaics, and English Tapware Company fixtures throughout. Homestead (2021) is a careful symbiosis of materiality, texture and finishes. The renewed family home will transcend both expectations, and generations.
